Funeral services for Eva Fleck Brown will he held 11 a.m. Friday, December 5, 2014 at the Christian Life Center, 665 Linnville Road, Heath, Ohio with Pastor James Kirk presiding. The family will greet friends and acquaintances beginning at 10 a.m. Friday at the Life Center. A private family interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery, 6959 W Broad St., Galloway, OH. Mrs. Brown, age 92, of Newark, passed away December 1, 2014 at Autumn Heath Care, Newark, OH. She was born August 31, 1922 in New Straitsville, Ohio, the daughter of Carl and Sylvia Smith. She followed the Christian Apostolic faith throughout her life. Eva retired from General Motors after 30 years of employment. Eva is survived by her husband, Delmer E. Brown; son, Charles E. "Chuck" (Nance) Davis II of Powell, OH; grandson, Charles E. "Chip" (Mary) Davis III; great grandchildren, Samantha and Matthew Davis of Houston, TX; step son, Guy (Nancy) Brown; step daughter, Artista Brown Clark and family of Newark, OH; Eva's siblings, Mary E. Williams of Zanesville, Randall (Janet) Smith of Clarksville, AK and Frank (Peewee) Smith of Shawnee, OH; brother-in-law, Denzil (Betty) Brown of NC; sisters-in-law, Iva (Brown) Spires and Louise (Brown) Sons of Zanesville; as well an many nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her parents, her son William "Bill" Davis (1988), former husbands Charles E. Davis I and Cyril R. Fleck, brothers Carlie and Melvin Smith, sisters Rosella Smith and Trudy Coates preceded Eva in death. Eva's family extends a special thank you to the staff of Autumn Care Center in Newark.
