He was a friend to young preachers, my pastor and hero. He surely is missed. I will always remember: "Hell's Hot...Jesus Saves....Your decision".

I enjoyed having Pastor Hood as a neighbor.I admired his strength, even though he was ill he managed to Wii bowl with us.I remember how he shared pie with us that he bought at a farm market.I loved hearing the choir singing outside on the sidewalk as I'm sure it brightened his day as it did mine. His family was always a pleasure to see.May God bless them as He welcomes Pastor Hood into heaven.

Bro. Jimmy was a Godly man, loved the Lord above all others and gave his life for the (Bottoms)! He will leave a void that modern day suburbanite little ministers don't have the guts to fill.
