He was a founding member of the Davis Flowers Arrangers and was also a member of the Sacramento Arrangers Guild. Don was devoted to his family, attending plays, piano recitals and sporting events with his grandchildren. Don is survived by his wife of 60 years, Rie; his son, Eric Christiansen of Dixon; daughters, Donna Marqua, and her husband, Frank, of Santa Rosa, and Dana Welch, and her husband, Paul, of Davis; grandchildren, Christine Marqua, of Sunnyvale, Michael Marqua, of San Jose, and Glen, Neil and Blake Welch, of Davis. He leaves two sisters, Janice Wohlers of Eureka and Joyce Cooper of Los Molinos. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Ralph and Robert.
