My beloved brother,Corky,My birthdays' will not be the same without your VERY early morning call to ask "How's my OLD sister?"And then ALL of your giggles that followed. But somehow I feel I will still hear you giggling. The love we've shared will always be. Nadine

Uncle Corky was the only logger I ever knew to get hit on the head with a widow-maker and end up with a broken ankle from the hit. He was simply amazing!

As you all know, a wonderful person has passed on to a better life. I know he will be missed by all, especially his family. The last few days have been really difficult as it was so sudden, but that's okay because we can take comfort in the fact that he didn't suffer.
Dad had a knack for seeing the lighter side of things and always got a chuckle out of things that didn't seem funny to anyone else, how many of you were suckered into eating a hot pepper even though he said it wasn't? He even would've chuckled knowing that Mom, doing what she did best (taking care of others first) forgot to put her name in the obituary.
Dad was a loving father and husband, he will truly be missed by my mother, my brothers and myself.
Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers.

Dear Nita,Butch,Dana, Dennis and family:
I remember Corky as a fellow with a large sense of humor and he "chuckled" he was so pleased with his stories. But mostly I remember that he cherished you and wanted whatever it was that made you happy. He taught the boys the same thing-to cherish you and I am sure they will. Take good care.

Aunt Nita, Butch, Dennis & family and Dana,
I am so sorry for the loss you are feeling. We will keep those stories going and laugh each time we tell them, just like Uncle Corky did. The flying squirrel one will never get old! I have to smile every time I think of him and his pranks. What a wonderful man he was. We will all carry him in our hearts, now and forever. Just laugh out loud, everyday and think of him and his smiling face. I love you all.
