Lucille Dale Obituary

February-27-1963 to September 11th, 2010 With trumpets blasting and angels dancing, Lucille Dale cart wheeled into heaven on September, 11th 2010. The kingdom will never be the same! Upon her arrival, Lucy was smothered with love and hugs from her Dad, Tim Dale, her brother Tim Jr. and Grandmother's Lucille Dale and Alice Shephard. After being relieved from a decade of illness and confinement to a wheelchair, Lucy's shouts of joy could be heard throughout the heavens. Lucy's family and friends take great comfort in knowing that her pain and suffering has ended. Lucy loved Girl Scouts, Cheerleading, "Big Time Wrestling" and fishing with her family when she was young. She was an accomplished pool player, loved camping, crocheting, scrapbooking, needlepoint and her work as a nurses assistant with the elderly. Volunteer work was a passion for Lucy, including Children's International, St. Joseph Hospital and words of encouragement to anyone in need. Lucy leaves behind her Son, Cody Dale and the two apples of her eyes; her Granddaughter, Elise and Grandson Owen. Also missing Lucy is her Mom, Viola Dale. Her sisters, Teresa Janowski (Husband Frank) and Kim Apelar (Husband Tracy). Her brother, John Barber (Wife Erika) along with many wonderful nieces and nephews, especially her niece, Trisha Dale who was her care provider, confidant and friend. She also will be missed by her wonderful friends at Silvercrest. Lucy left explicit instructions that we were "not to mourn her death, but we were to celebrate her new life" Please join us in a Celebration of Lucy's new life on Sunday, October, 17th from 2 pm to 4 pm at Silvercrest, 2141 Tydd Street in Eureka. I want to thank everyone who helped with my sisters Celebration of Life Service, prayers, cards, and stories you shared with the family; it was very much appreciated. Lou Lou love’s the Lord and was a true bringer of light; she always left you laughing. We miss her greatly and look forward to the day when we’ll be with her and Jesus in paradise.
Enjoy each day to the fullest, make the most of your time with loved ones and remember to tell them often that you love them, for today is just one day closer to paradise.

Lucy is going to be missed very much. I am sure that Lucy and her dad Tim are enjoying each other with the peace of Christ. The relief and the joy they both can share, without the pain and suffering must be something special. Truly the Lord has taken the burden from their shoulders. I will always remember her as my eldest cousin, and one who really cared. We look forward to seeing them in heaven someday. Our deepest sympathies to Lucy's close family members.
Love,

Lucy will be missed very much, but we know we can have the assurance that she is pain free in Heaven with Jesus and her family and friends that went on before her. She loves God and was looking forward to her return home, though it seems premature to us.We Love You Lucy and look forward to seeing you again when it is our turn to go home. Love- Uncle Bob and
