Dear Grover, I am so sorry to hear of Marna's passing. I first met her in 7th grade at Eureka Jr. High. I sat behind her in Home Room. She has always impressed me with her sweet kindness. She was a beautiful girl.

Dear Grover: Marna was a great lady and we always enjoyed her visits when we went to bowling tournaments. We can remember when we went to Eureka f/one and joined the two of you afterwards for dinner. It was fun. Lois especially enjoyed visiting with Marna and missed her at recent tournaments. Fifty-seven years is a long time bonding in love. We will pray for an easy transition through these difficult times, Grover. We will miss her dearly. Ron Wilkins & Lois Pearce, Grants Pass, Oregon

Dear Grover,
It is with sadness and sympathy that the boys and I express our loss for Marna. We wish we could find words to give you true comfort, but the words are difficult to find.
Perhaps a good memory will help?? Marna used to stay up late waiting for the family to arrive from Sacramento on a visit. She’d sit up late into the night making sure we arrived safely, and sometimes this meant no sleep until 2 AM! We’d arrive to a spit-shine spotless house, bedrooms with added pillows, the coffee set for auto-6 AM service and despite our hyper, yapping boys AND pups (who would invariably wake-up you, too!), she stayed calm and welcomed us with open-arms. Many touching memories of this special woman will be in our hearts forever.
In memory of Marna, we will be making a donation to the Hospice of Humboldt.
With heartfelt condolences,
James, Josh and Norma

Grover, We are so sorry for your loss. We haven't seen you for years, but we used to bowl with you at Broadway Lanes. We have lived in Tahlequah, Oklahoma since 2003, so we have lost touch with so many people. Again, we are sorry.

Dear Grover and Family:
I was deeply saddened at the passing of Marna. Ron and I had lost track of you both after leaving the Humboldt Hill area, but ran into you while shopping at the then Mervyn's years ago. We were so happy to see both of you. You were excited about leaving the next day for a Bowling Tournament.
Ron had worked with you for a few years and often spoke of how he enjoyed those times.
Again, my sincerest sympathy,
Love and prayers for you and your family,
Mary Brown, Eureka, CA
