Timothy Rotherham Obituary

Tim came into this world on 8-10-86 and left all of us too soon on 10-21-10 at the age of 24. Tim loved life and never let his physical limitations get in the way of living it to the fullest. He loved many things and had numerous interests including classic films, fact books, listening to an eclectic mix of music, visiting art museums, attending the Symphony and local natural attractions. He enjoyed a wide variety of classes at CR including Science, Psychology and the Arts. His learning wasn't limited to the classroom and his open mind broadened how he viewed the world. He looked forward to trips to the family cabin at Ruth Lake each summer and holiday gatherings. The thing he loved most in this world was his nephew and godson, Hunter. Hunter and Tim spent many special moments together. Tim had a heart of a lion and was an inspiration to all who crossed his path. His faith in God allowed him to have no fear in continuing his journey beyond this life. His last selfless act was to donate the gift of sight to someone in need. This person can now view the world through his eyes. He leaves behind: Mother, Cindy Rotherham; Father, Scott Rotherham; Step-mom, Glenda Rotherham; Brother, Aaron Rotherham & wife Leslie; Sister, Emily Menegon & Husband David; Nephew & Godson Hunter Menegon; Grandpa & Grandma Ken & Judy Stoffer; Grandma Lavonne Rotherham; Great Grandma Florence Baker. Aunts & Uncles: Shirley Stoffer, Lorin Kenney & Carey Schwartz; Ginny & Wayne Daniels; Tina May & Jack; Todd & Kim Rotherham; Jeff & Jerlyn Rotherham. Cousins: Renee, Chloe, Kristi & families; Dresden & Wyatt; Jevon & family; Dustin; Josh; Tia & family; Colt & Walker; Teia & Tiler. He also leaves behind these special people: Mary & Maryann Evans; Jimmy & Erica Harris & family and especially Cassie Moulton who had a very special place in his heart. And the many, many friends who have helped support him throughout the years. He also leaves behind his loyal companion Kobe. Tim was preceded in death by his Grandpa Max Rotherham and Cousin Jason Rotherham. A special thank you to Dr. Fratkin & Dr. Bui and the wonderful staff at St. Joseph Hospital who cared for Tim during his last days. A celebration of Tim's life will be held on Friday, November 26th from 1 to 4 pm at the Wharfinger Building. In lieu of flowers a scholarship is being established in Tim's name. Information will be provided at a later date. Please sign the guest book at www.Times-Standard.com, click obits.

My dear Timmer,
I miss you so much! I cherish the memories of the times we spent together. Thank you for everything you did for me. I learned alot from you. There are not enough words in the dictionary to discribe your character and personality, but unselfish would be one of the many. You told me one time that you were not put here on earth for yourself, but for other people. You were so right. God blessed us all when He put you in our family. I know you and Gramps are enjoying your time together again. I am at peace with that. Love you always, Gram

Tim - It was so rewarding to be part of your life for four short years as you learned to like reading and learning. To see the launch of an active and curious mind is a teacher's dream and I am so happy to have been involved in that part of your life.

Tim was one of the most compassionate, intelligent and humorous people I've ever known. My life was better from having him in it. I'm so blessed that my children were able to get to know him and he will be missed. I love you, always, Tim.
