Virginia Barnett Obituary

Polly was born in Tennessee on July 7, 1945. She moved to California where she became an in-home healthcare nurse, and married her husband of 30 years, Jim. Polly loved to travel, go camping, and garden. She also loved to attend church on Sundays at Pine Hill Baptist Church. Polly had an extensive love for her friends and family, especially her grandson Jimmy, and she will be greatly missed. Polly is survived by her son Jim Barnett of Eureka, daughter Bridgette Barnett of Alaska, grandson Jimmy Barnett of Eureka, sisters Martha Scholz, Ethel Silveira, and Cathy Hoover, all from Manteca, as well as numbers nieces and nephews. Polly was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Barnett. Memorial Service will be held at Pine Hill Baptist Church, Saturday October 16 a 1pm, officiated by Pastor Derril. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Pine Hill Baptist Church. Please sign the guestbook at www.times-standard.com, click on obits.
