Dorothy Earline Myhan

Dorothy Earline Myhan, age 89, of Florence, passed away Friday, May 27, 2011.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Saturday, May 28, at Spry-Williams Funeral Home, Florence. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 29, at Cloverdale Church of Christ, with Brother Sonny Bogus and Brother Perry Taylor officiating. She will lie in state at the church 1-2 p.m. Interment is at Cloverdale Church of Christ Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Randall Stamps, Ronnie Stamps, Peyton Schulte, Wally Schulte, Garret Myhan and Lukas Myhan.
Honorary pallbearers will be elders and deacons of Cloverdale Church of Christ.
Mrs. Myhan was a member of Cloverdale Church of Christ and full time devoted housewife. She served as a quilter at Cloverdale Community Center. She was a giver who loved cooking and helping to meet the needs of many people.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Holt and Myrtle Liles Holt, and brothers, Arnold and Gene Holt and Roger Dale Vickery.
Survivors include husband, Gifford Myhan; children, Faye Stamps, Kay Bullion (Don), Jerry Myhan (Dianne); sisters, Juanita Pannell (Russ), of Ohio, Annette Lawler, Helen Mashburn, Peggy Wright (Jimmy), all of Haleyville, Ala.; brothers, Bill Holt (Bernell), of Ohio, Harold Vickery, Larry Vickery (Pat), all of Haleyville, Ala.; grandchildren, Rita Franks, Rhonda Swinea, Randall and Ronnie Stamps, Wally and Payton Schulte, Britney Stanojevic, Garret and Lukas Myhan and Meredith Pietzman; great-grandchildren, Maleah and Ethan Smith, Kace and Allison Franks, Austin, Laken and Evan Swinea, Sawyer and Raleigh Stamps, Jake and Rachael Stamps, Emma, Libby, Marcus and Cash Myhan; sisters-in-law, Gertrude and Christine Holt; numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Myhan Scholarship Fund, c/o Mars Hill Bible School, 698 Cox Creek Parkway, Florence, AL 35630; Hospice of the Shoals, 115 Fairground Road, Florence, AL 35630 or Cloverdale Church of Christ Cemetery Fund.
