Dear Children,
I was in her wedding and she in mine. We grew up together and we made our childhoods last years longer than ever was allowed. Sledding together when she was expecting Ron. Swiming, skating, riding. Roughnecks!
Joyce will always be 15 in my mind. . .pj parties every weekend. Her house, mine, Beverly's. So young and wild! I lived on New Burne and we would run through the neighbor's back yards to get to each other's houses. Who ever thought we could die? She, so strong, so beautiful, and I want her back! I join you now in your heartbreak.
Love to you all,
Patsy Atack Lough

Dear Ron,Ross,Marti and Wendy;
Yesterday, as I was working with my spade Joyce bought for me on Ron's and my first Christmas in our new home, I thought about how much I looked up to and learned from her in the time I spent with her. I so enjoyed the talks we had in her yard over plants or "cutting up" by the pool. My most favorite memory is of her working in the yard with her baby raccoon crying for her and following behind when he heard her voice. Your Mom was a special woman. I loved her dearly and have missed her more than words can say. Be strong for each other and remember the love she had for each one of you and your individuality. May God Bless each one of you and keep you in your time of need.
With Sympathy,

Dear Ron, Ross, Marty and Wendy, I grew up across the street from your mother on Essex Road -- I am a few years younger -- 69 and she was my idol! Always so pretty and thin -- and always so nice to the chubby little girl across the street -- I know I bugged her so much -- when i saw her picture I could only smile remembering not only Joyce but her Mother and Father. With prayers for you and yours

Dear Ron,Ross, Marty and Wendy,
It seems like yesterday when your family
lived next door to me in Fredericksburg.
I have many fond memories of Joyce
and the fun times we had together as young mothers.
You are all in my prayers and thoughts during this sad time.
With deepest sympathy,
Nancy Heflin
