Margaret Durrett

DURRETT, Margaret Carneal "Hazel," 84, of Sparta, died Saturday, October 9, 2010 at Bowling Green Health Care Center with her family by her side. Mrs. Durrett was the widow of Floyd Durrett. She was proud to say she grew up at Hubbard's Tavern and was a longtime member of Salem Baptist Church. She was a longtime bookkeeper for many years at Holland Lumber and C.W. Jackson Trucking. She is survived by a son, Dean Durrett and his wife, Susan; a granddaughter, Melissa Somers and her husband, Bobby; and two great-grandsons, Toby Somers and Jordan Somers; her mother-in-law, Louise Durrett; a sister-in-law, Nancy Corr; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 12, 2010 in the chapel of Storke Funeral Home, Bowling Green. Burial will follow in Bethany Baptist Church.
