She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Scott Jones Sr. Surviving are her son, John Goode III; mother, Marian Montague Jones; sister, Joyce Jones Ricks (Ashley); brother, Robert Scott Jones Jr. (Alma); nieces, nephew, other relatives, and friends. A memorial will be held 4 p.m. on Monday, August 16 at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd. Rev. Michelle E. Hatcher officiating. Online guestbook at www.scottsfuneralhome.com.
