HENCE, Mrs. Lorine, of Richmond, departed this life, May 27, 2011. She is survived by one son, Bernard Hence of Oakland, Calif.; one granddaughter, Juanita Williams; three great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, several nieces nephews and cousins; two devoted nieces, Mable Carter and Barbara Minor; other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Walter J. Manning Funeral Home, 700 N. 25th Street. Remains will lie in state Wednesday, 11 a.m., at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 2371 Piping Tree Ferry Rd., Mechanicsville, Va., where homegoing services will be held at 12 noon. Rev. Paul Flowers, pastor, Rev. Stephen Pughs, officiating. Burial Oakwood Cemetery.
