BRACEY, Curtiss K., 84, passed away peacefully December 23, 2010. He is survived by his devoted wife, Ida L. Bracey; five children, Cheryl Crenshaw of New York, Virginia L. Baccus, Katharine B. Campbell, Curtis Baccus Jr. and Russell Baccus; two daughters-in-law, eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; brothers, Anderson, Andrew and Tyrone of Richmond and Eugene Bracey of Maryland; five sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law; two cousins, Sophia McMillan and Gladys Ogburn; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Mimms Funeral Home, 19th and Hull Streets, where the family will receive friends Thursday (today) from 6 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 31, at 12 noon at Trinity Baptist Church, 2811 Fendall Ave. Rev. A. Lincoln James, pastor, officiating. Interment in Maury Cemetery.

To: Auntie Ida,
I love you and appreciate you for all... the years that you deciated to my uncle Curtiss. You two were very special parts of my life an my father. We Thank you and appreciate you both for all that you've done over the year's. May God continue to bless you and keep you as the days pass on. My father (Tyrone Bracey) and I will truely miss uncle Curtiss. Lord thank you for a special auntie Ida(mother) & uncle Curtiss(father) they are truely the best in world.
