Dear Jeanine,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you mourn Charles' death.
We are especially grateful to you and Charles for being the initiators and driving force behind our Stony Point Church family's yearly trips to Chincoteague for over a decade. So many families, ours included, have wonderful memories of that beautiful place! Thank you for encouraging us to come that first year, checking to see that we arrived safely, and taking us, complete with three little kids in tow, out to a waterside restaurant for dinner. In His Love,
Buddy Briggs

I met Charles 33 years ago, and we became friends right away. We shared a love of hunting and shooting sports, and spent many hours together in the woods and fields of Powhatan. He helped me get a job on the C&O Railway, where I had the best job in the world of driving trains. You're up there with Win and Bedford just like in hunting camp. I'll join you one day dear friend. I'll miss our talks and your sage advice. I'm so glad I got to see you last year, and hug you and tell you I love you.

My prayers are with "Bubba's" family. I think of the many prayers his dad prayed for his salvation and now they are rejoicing together with the Lord.

Uncle Bubba I will NEVER forget you...I have many good and fun memories of camping trips with you, Aunt Jeanine and momma and dad...and the summer vacations at Hungry Mother State Park..and how you ALWAYS came to visit me anytime I was in the hospital. I will miss your big tight hugs and strong voice during the holidays and other occasions.. I know you are with Grandaddy and Grandma Lambert now and you are rejoicing with the angels and watching over us all. We love you and miss you!!!
