Dear Mrs. Chandler,
I first met Sam when we were young, crazy high school students. We immediately became great friends and remained friends for many years. I found myself on the end of one of his practical jokes on more than one occasion and I was at the airport when he returned from Vietnam. Somehow we lost track of each other when I married and started a family. So many wonderful memories. My thoughts and prayers to you and your family on your loss.

Mrs. Chandler, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I only met Sammy a little over a year ago while helping with Bubba Long's estate. I was Bubba's neighbor who took care of the lawn. Sammy was a wonderful friend to Bubba and though my husband and I only knew Sammy a short while we found him to be a very caring person. You and your family are in our prayers.

I had the pleasure of working with Sammy for several years at Quality Communications. Sammy always had a saying for everything and said he could always remember things that didn't amount to anything, and I catch myself repeating those phrases often. I'll always remember the mornings we would stop for breakfast at McCleans before going to our job. Sammy was a great friend and he will be missed. I hope one day I will be able to see him again. Robin, Travis, Tracy, and family, please know that if there is anything that I can do to help you during this time, please don't hesitate to call.

Robin and Family
My deepest sympathy to you all. Sammy was a great guy. Growing up, I always looked forward to seeing Sammy and Patsy. Sammy always took time with us as the younger cousins and I will always have fond memories. I wish I could be there, but I am in Ohio. Know that you all will be in my thoughts.
With Sympathy,
Sammy's cousin

Robin and family,
Sammy and I worked together for about 35 years, and he was always a good friend to me. After he retired, he still called in to see how things were going. I will miss him as I am sure you will as well. Our prayers are with you at this special time of need.

To the family: I was a co-worker of Sammy's when we worked together at Verizon (Brittons Hill Rd) years ago. He was such a friendly, kind man and a joy to work with. You are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
