William Reardon Jr.

REARDON, William J. Jr., went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 29, 2010. He was preceded in death by his father, William John Reardon Sr.; mother, Dora Challenor Reardon; sister, Mary Catherine "Kay" Reardon Saunders; and brother, Thomas O'Connell Reardon. He is survived by his wife, Charlene Hudson Reardon; daughter, Cecelia Marie Reardon Lloyd and her husband, Harvey Franklin Lloyd; granddaughters, Christina Lloyd Fukushima and her husband, Benson Thomas Fukushima, and Amanda Leigh Nesbitt and her husband, Adam Lee Nesbitt; five great-grandchildren, Lexi, Naomi, Mackenzi, Dawson and Conner; and sister, Cecelia Reardon Carroll and her husband, Luther Carroll. He leaves behind many dear friends in his Senior Breakfast Group, the Ageless Wonders Senior Group and two dear neighbors. He served in the Korean War as a medic. He spent most of his adult life at Reynolds Metals Company Printing Plant on Reymet Road and retired from there on July 15, 1991. He was a member of the Virginia Train Collectors Association and the National TCA for a number of years. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Bliley's - Staples Mill, 8510 Staples Mill Road, where services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday. Interment Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
