Emmett G. LEWIS Jr.

LEWIS, Emmett G. Jr., of McKenney, formerly of Chesterfield, died on Wednesday, October 27, 2010. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Ann; his children, Tami R. Cruciotti, Emmett G. Lewis III "Bubba" and his wife, Kris, Brian Lewis, John Lewis and his wife, Shanna; a sister, Jean Chapell; grandchildren, Heath, Josh, Hunter, Erin, Corbin, Cassidy, Cooper, Tagean, Landon and Jaxson; and his faithful friend, Abbi. Mr. Lewis retired from Chesterfield County Schools and was a longtime member of the Richmond Concourse Association. The family would like to thank Dr. Leukow and the staff of the Virginia Cancer Institute, and the nurses of the Thomas Johns Cancer Center, for the loving care given to Mr. Lewis and his family. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday at Bliley's-Chippenham, 6900 Hull Street Rd., where funeral services will be held 2 p.m. on Sunday.
