IRENE F. HAWKES

HAWKES, Irene F., age 86, of Richmond, died Monday, August 9, 2010. She was the widow of Richard L. Hawkes Sr. She is survived by two sons, Richard L. Hawkes Jr. and his wife, Tracey, and Robert H. Hawkes and his wife, Gladys; two grandchildren, Amanda Klutts and Benjamin Oliveira; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Florence Throckmorton; two brothers, Ed and Paul Flowers; and many nieces and nephews. Her remains rest at Bliley's-Chippenham, 6900 Hull Street Rd., where the family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, and where funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday. Interment Dale Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to ASPCA or Alzheimer's Association.
