Steve Passalacqua

PASSALACQUA, Steve, age 86, born in Brooklyn, N.Y., died on Friday, July 17, 2009. Survivors include his wife, Ruby Saunders Passalacqua; three children, Stephen Passalacqua and his wife, Charity of Edgewater, Md., Maria Quintiliani and her husband, Mario of Boston, Mass. and Louisa Filiz of San Diego, Calif.; grandchildren, Regina, Stephen, Vincent and Marina; four stepchildren, N. Leslie Saunders Jr. and Joseph Saunders of Richmond, Michael Saunders of Stedman, N.C. and Susan Saunders of Jacksonville, Fla.; and numerous step-grandchildren. Mr. Passalacqua was a World War II Army veteran and a retired employee of the State of New York. A gathering of family and friends will be held 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday at Blileys-Chippenham, 6900 Hull Street Rd. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. on Tuesday at Dale Memorial Park, followed by a memorial service at Bon Air Baptist Church at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
