Tracy, I have heard that you are back in Va and been searching for you with no success. So sadly discovered this today. I sincerely loved Rose Mary and you - This is a shock to me. I share your loss - I lost Debbie Christmas Eve 2009 - Little sisters just never leave big brothers' hearts.
Praying that you will see this, and, please, get in touch with me. I understand you are somewhere around Charlottesville. I am living in the Northern Neck and will surely drive any distance to see you after so many years. God's Peace to you and to your family.

Parrish and Tracey,
Buddy and I just learned about Rose Mary's passing. We were away in January and didn't see it in the paper; just heard from a high school friend yesterday. We are so saddened she was ill, but are thankful that she is in her heavenly home, as she truly was an angel here on earth. She and Steve were both in our wedding 41 years ago. We spent a lot of time with them and little Parrish; have lots of pictures with them at the beach and at home. What beautiful memories we have. She had the most beautiful smile and contageous laugh... and what a voice. We lost touch over the years, but would run into her at Ukrops at Sycamore... we would laugh and reminisce and say we should get together... how sad that we missed that opportunity. We love you Rose and will see you again one day!

Rose was such a wonderful caring person to all she came in contact with. I will greatly miss her smiling face and funny loving spirit. She was always happy no matter what was going on with her and would give you the shirt off of her back if you needed it. I feel very fortunate to have ever met her and having her as a friend. Love you Rose, Love Robin

January 14 2011
I did one of the hardest things I've ever had to do .... I attended the funeral of my best friend Rose Mary Dilley.

There are a handful of people who come into your world in a dramatic fashion.

Some people are just flickers of light during a lifetime, while others are consistent glows for years. For me Rose was a consistent glow. She was my best friend for 31 years.

I will be forever grateful for spending 31 years of my life with a friend like Rose. All the memories I have shared with Rose will forever be cherished and remembered. Rose will forever live in my heart.

Rose we celebrate your life and the special person we have all loved and we thank you for believing in us and for so often putting your hopes, our needs and our dreams before your own.

Rose I Love You and you have graced my life more than you will ever know. You will be forever missed but I know in the right time we will meet again.

I will always remember her as a warm lady with a gentle voice and caring laugh. I pray each day carries you further away from your pain of loss and closer to memories of the graceful gift that she was and continues to be.

Parrish and Family,
Rose, was a kind, compassionate, fun-loving and caring person. She had a warm smile no matter when I saw her. Ed Southard and I (Rosena Tiller) were volunteers of the C&P Telephone Employees Federal Credit Committee, in which we came in contact with Rose every week. Her willingness to help the members will never be forgotten. She will be greatly missed. May God continue to bless you and yours.
