Those of us who had the privilege of having Mrs. Evans as our Kindergarten teacher can thank her for an outstanding start to our academic education, but more importantly for giving us the skills to become people of strong character. Thank you for your legacy, Mrs. Evans!

To Baby Ruth, Leon and other family members,
Your Aunt was one of the SWEETEST people that I ever knew. We know she is now at peace and rest. She knew that she was so blessed to have you, who were as devoted as you were to her and I know she loved and appreciated you for that. She spoke of that often during the times I visited her. Sincerely,
Lula Lamb
