Dear Brooks Family,
We are members of CHBC, and have 2 little boys, one is 2 years old, so I am sure we have passed in the hallway picking up our little ones. I have cried many tears for you...I could not imagine what a great loss you are feeling. I am so sorry for what you are going through. I pray that you will find a warm safe place to rest in the arms of our savior...he will heal your broken hearts.

Words can not say what I feel for each of you right now. Debbie and Richard, you are dear friends, The journey you are beginning is one I wouldn't want anyone to endure - much less, the two of you.
Honestly, I can't believe little Samantha was sitting on my knee, just three weeks ago, as we read a book together. She was precious and that is always how I will remember her. She was such a loving baby.

She was so very, very special
and was so from the start, you held her in your arms but mainly in your hearts.
And like a single drop of rain that on still waters fall, her life did ripples make and touched the lives of all. When God calls little children to dwell with Him above, we mortals sometimes question the wisdom of his love. For no heartache compares with the death of one small child who does so much to make our world seem wonderful and mild. Perhaps God tires of calling the aged to his fold, so he picks a rosebud before it can grow old. God knows how much we need them, and so he takes but few to make the land of heaven more beautiful to view. Believing this is difficult, still somehow we must try the saddest word mankind knows will always be "Goodbye." So when a little child departs, we who are left behind must realize God loves children, Angels are hard to find.
Please be comforted in knowing Samantha will be your guardian angel always. You know if you ever need anything, we are right next door!

We did not know each other and have only met once at a birthday party Rebecca went to with my daughter. We also attend CH Baptist Church as well. I have to say our family has been moved to tears.
