Adam Wade Bryant

BRYANT, Lt. Adam Wade, U.S. Coast Guard, age 28, of Crewe, died October 29, 2009, in the line of duty serving with the U.S. Coast Guard. He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Doris Bryant and Reafer Stewart; and grandfather, Caleb Stewart. He is survived by his father, Jerry S. Bryant, of Crewe; mother, Nina S. Bryant, of Crewe; brother, Benjamin R. Bryant, of Blackstone; grandfather, Max Bryant, of Crewe; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family. A memorial service will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, December 12, 2009, at Kenston Forest School in Blackstone. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kenston Forest School Athletic Department Addition, 75 Ridge Rd., Blackstone, Va. 23824, or to the Coast Guard Foundation, (coastguardfoundation.org) 394 Taugwond Rd., Stonington, Conn. 06378.
