SANSONETTI, Alberta M., 85, of Richmond, passed away April 22, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, S. John Sansonetti. She is survived by a son, Thomas L. Sansonetti and his wife, Kristi; a daughter, Diane J. Sansonetti and her husband, John Batty; also two grandchildren, Clare and Luke Batty. Alberta was the consummate wife, mother, neighbor and friend. She was a founding member of the College Hills Woman's Club. Her final five years were spent actively and happily in the St. Mary's Woods Retirement Community. Her family will receive friends Sunday, April 25, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Rd. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 9505 Gayton Rd., Richmond, Va. Entombment private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Little Sisters of the Poor, 1503 Michaels Rd., Henrico, Va. 23229, or MCV-VCU Hospitality House, 612 E. Marshall St., Richmond, Va. 23219.
