The family of Barbara McCoy, I was a classmate at Thomas Dale with Barbara. We played basketball together. Know the world is a better place because of Barbara. What a joy it was to play along side of her. She could out jump, and out rebound any girl on the court. Her smile arrived before she did. Thanks for the memories Barbara. Go with G-d.

I know that you are in Heaven now and not worrying about the struggle to live anymore.

You changed my life!

You were a better friend to me than any one else ever has ever been.

You once told me that your mom told you, "don't love too much, because if you love too much, God may get jealous and take your loved one away." I didn't mean to make God jealous, but to know you is to love you. I couldn't help but love you and cherish our time together.

You and Randy were supposed to make a trip out here to Phoenix like we did last November, but God had another plan in mind. It is impossible to understand the mind of God.

I do thank Him for letting me share a small portion of your life with me and I will NEVER stop cherishing your memory. I pray that the Lord comforts all your many family members and friends that had the great privilege of knowing you and I pray the Lord comfort me, too.

I wish I wasn't so far away, but my heart and my prayers are with the family.

(thank you for allowing me to freely express my heart here)

My dearest cousin Barbara Ann, no words can express the feelings of my heart at this time. I will always love you, and praise God for you for the things you and Randy did for my daughter, Christina, who is really hurting now. We say "Thank you Jesus" for the life and love you exhibuted for Him through our family. May you rest in His peace where there is no more pain and suffering. Tell your mother that "Jesus is still my Captain, and He fights for me!"

Love always, Melvon, Trish, and Christina Clemons

If We Could Bring You Back Again

If we could bring you back again,
For one more hour or day,
We’d express all our unspoken love;
We’d have countless things to say.

If we could bring you back again,
We’d say we treasured you,
And that your presence in our lives
Meant more than we ever knew.

If we could bring you back again,
To tell you what we should,
You’d know how much we miss you now,
And if we could, we would.

Cousin Barbara, I love you so much and will miss you deeply.

P.S. I told my mom you are probably at a card table playing bidwhist with Mr.Kenny in heaven....save us a seat!

Words seem inadequate to express the sadness that I feel. When we lose someone we love, it seems that time stands still. What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch, we may not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that you died, but that you lived. And that your life gave us so many memories too beautiful to forget.

I take comfort in knowing that the God we serve is an Awesome God and he knows best. He’s granted his Angel her wings and now her strength has been renewed.

Revelation 21:4
And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away."

Auntie Barbie I will love you for forever and a day and I will miss you tremendously!!
