Hello,
We realize that we are very late to express our deepest condolences, but we wanted to let your family and friends know that we have made a small donation to Snowball Express to honor and remember Brandon T. Islip US Army Sergeant. We recognize that this is a humble tribute, but we wanted you to know that it is heartfelt and made possible by thousands of like-minded individuals across the American youth hockey community and beyond. George and Allison, My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family at this time. I just found out about Brandon from a friend of ours from long ago. Valerie Newton used to babysit Brandon and my two sons John and Frank Shelton ( both also red heads) When I looked at his picture I can see all three of the playing at Valerie's I know you were very proud of him and all that he has done, again my prayers are with you. Our family send our thoughts and prayers to all of Brandon's family and friends. We will be here for you all, all you have to do is ask! Brandon was a true hero and gave the ultimate sacrifice for his country and all of our freedom. Thank you, Brandon! You will never be forgotten and we will help look after your mom, dad and wife.

My heart goes out to friends and family of Brandon. My daughter was a friend of Ben's and I've been keeping watch to see if they had found Brandon. I'm glad he was found but sad about the outcome. My prayers are with you.

You have a whole nation who is thankful for your keeping us safe. You are a hero, no doubt; diving into the water to save your friend. Brandon, I am so proud that you pursued what you truly wanted to do. And I believe that you helped get Lucy out of the fire....she is so proud, too. Much love.
