To this day, I still can't believe that you are gone. Words can't explain how much I miss your presence around the house. The family is not the same without you, me, Collin, Scoop, Ma, Grandma Ev, we all miss you dearly! You may be gone away from planet Earth but, you will forever remain in my heart! I'm taken your passing as a "see you later" , not a "good bye" forever. We will rekindle our flame when I get to the heavenly place with you. I miss & love you dearly!
R.I.Paradise Dad!!
Love,
Your Daughter, Tiara

My thoughts and prayers are with the family. I played basketball with Carl (Scottie) and that's how I got to know him. In the past few years he would come to the gym not to play ball with us but with his son. He was a good friend and a great father.

Friends for just a little while but he had been a presents at VCU school of Dentistry. I remember seeing the new manager of IMS cleaning the stainless exterior of the instrument drop off area. I thought then, a great new staff addition that cares about the school. The love he had for the school showed through right at that moment he arrived. The students, faculty and staff all cared about Carl just the same. I think it might have been his jokes, talk of sports or maybe just his smile. You should be very proud that he was yours, your son, your father, your family, or your friend. I know I am proud to have been his co worker and part of the VCU family. My prayers and thoughts are with all of his family.

Tara,
I want to express my sincere condolences to you the children and Evelyn. I am Ethel Fisher's grandaughter and grew up knowing Carl as my uncle, since we were so close in age we never used the titles. He and I lost touch a few years ago.
My greatest memory of Him was when we were younger and he and My uncle Tony would kick me out their room because I would spy and run and tell my grandmother what they were doing (or nor doing.
He will be sadly missed,
Tina
