Carolyn Cook

COOK, Carolyn Goodson "CaCa," 62, of Chesterfield, passed away Thursday, January 14, 2010 surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Cook. She was the daughter of the late Matthew and Minnie Goodson of Richmond. She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and Wayne Holloman of Chesterfield; sister-in-law, Roberta Cook of Dinwiddie; two nieces and their husbands, Angel and Timmy Meadows Sr. and Amber and Chris Ligon; one nephew and his wife, Sonny and Shannon Holloman, all of Chesterfield; seven great-nieces and nephews who were the joy of her life, Timothy and Travis Meadows, Austin and Eathan Ligon, Chesney, Peyton and Layne Holloman, all of Chesterfield; devoted cousin and family, Leon, Diane and Chip Vandevander and Jodi Wyrick; other relatives and friends. She loved the beach at Nags Head and lighthouses and enjoyed watching wrestling and being with her family and friends. She fought to the end and will be greatly missed by everyone, but is now at home with her Lord and Savior. She gave her friendship to many and received much in return. The family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, at Bliley's - Chippenham, 6900 Hull Street Road, where funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Monday. Entombment Dale Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made to the Diabetes Foundation, American Heart Association or the Manchester Rescue Squad.
