The Roomstore had lost a family member. When I first started with the Roomstore nine years ago, Cecil was one of the first people to introduce himself and offer help. He has become such a good friend over the years. Never have I met a man with a more positive spirit. You will be missed my friend.

Cecil was an example of how God wanted men to live. He was loving, caring, helpful and a joy to be around. When he was in your presence you could feel the presence of Gods love. I will miss his calls about how good God is. How could you not love him? I know he is in Gods arms resting.

God Bless you Cecil. You were a shining example to everyone as to who and what we all should aspire to as God's children. Your kindness, your generosity, your genuine caring nature and of course your smile and laugh that comforted us all. I hope you can look down and see all the lives you touched and know how many people truly love you and smile and know you lived a good life and feel the love we all share for you. Your suffering has ended and now you are reunited with Keish in heaven. You are an inspiration to us all and certainly over the 25 plus years I've know you, to me personally. God Bless. You will be missed but remembered in our hearts and actions. Love Ya Man...

I will forever remember your smile. When you walked into a room it was like you lifted the atmosphere with your positive energy. You were the example of what a man was and what many men were not. You were always able to see the good in everyone. You were a friend, uncle, and father, and mentor to many. You inspired others to strive and be the best at whatever they desired to do. You were a great force in my life and I will never forget you. RIP Cecil...

My dear, sweet friend Cecil. My heart is broken knowing I wil never see you again. They say it is not how you leave this life, it is how you lived it and you are the prime example on how to do that. I pray I will come close to living your example. You would do anything for anybody and you never judged anyone. My only solace is knowing you are at peace and with Keshia the love of your life. God Bless you Cecil.

TO THE FAMILY OF MR. ALEXANDER, ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT EARTH HAS NO SORROW THAT HEAVEN CAN NOT HEAL. YOUR SORROW IS HEAVEN'S GAIN, BECAUSE GOD HAS TAKEN ONE OF HIS BEST HOME. MR. ALEXANDER AS I CALLED HIM WAS ONE OF THE BEST. HE GAVE ME AN OPPORTUNITY WHEN I NEEDED IT MOST. THAT WAS HIRING ME AT HEILIG MYERS. WE WAS LIKE A FAMIY THEIR AND WHEN HE LEFT OUR FAMILY WAS BROKEN. HE WAS AN ANGEL IN DISGUISE.
HE TOUCHED SO MANY PEOPLE. EVEN SEEING HIM WHEN HE CAME TO H.D.H. KNOWING HE WAS SICK HE STILL KEPT THAT SMILE ON HIS FACE. GOD IS PLEASE AND HAS SAID COME ON UP THY GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT. YOU WAS THE BEST MANAGER ANYONE COULD HAVE WORKED UNDER AND YOU WILL BE MISSED.

My brother and I had the privilege of working with Cecil at Heilig Meyers and I can truly say that he was a gem to work with. My brother befriended Cecil during his tenure at Heilig Meyers and that friendship continued until his passing. I know that Cecil was definitely a positive influence on how he matured into the dedicated and hardworking man that he is today. You should be proud to know that he had such an impact on his life. I know these are difficult times and it may be hard to imagine how you will go on but hold on to the memories and know that Cecil is in a place of peace without pain and suffering and his kind and caring spirit will live on through those of us that he has touched.

There are no words to describe just how great a man Cecil was. He was such a special person and we loved him dearly. He was always smiling and willing to help with anything anyone needed. He had the biggest heart and a great laugh. We're really going to miss deep-frying his turkey's for him at Thanksgiving and Christmas and will definitely miss his awesome Banana Pudding. He will be deeply missed but we know he's with Keisha again and he's no longer suffering. Please know our thoughts and prayers are with your family at this time.
