Charles ELMORE Obituary

ELMORE, Charles "Chuck," 70, of Glen Allen, formerly of Plattsburgh, N.Y., passed away November 9, 2009. He is survived by his wife, Patricia A. Elmore; his brother, Glen J. Elmore and his wife, Nancy, of Louisa; also numerous other relatives. Mr. Elmore was a very talented musician who played numerous instruments. He was a veteran who served with the U.S. Navy and was very proud of that. He was a member of Glen Allen Lodge No. 131 and recently retired from the County of Henrico, where he was an electronic control technician. A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, November 12, at Virginia Veterans Cemetery at Amelia. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 4600 Cox Road, Suite 130, Glen Allen, Va. 23060. The Woody Funeral Home - Parham Chapel is handling arrangements.

Henry and I will miss our contacts with Chuck. I find comfort in knowing Vic and Chuck are together reunited with their parents. Chuck left us a beautiful gift through his music. He will be missed. Our deepest sympathy to Glen and Nancy and family. Lou and Henry
