It has been over a year now since you left this planet and went to a place where there is no sickness. I still miss you and see your picture every night before I go to bed. You were so special and tears are starting to fall as I type.

Chuck you were my best friend and a great snuggle buddie every night. We had so much fun together every day. Sorry that you missed my 40th highschool reunion. You would have loved it as you already knew many of my friends. I am taking you mom what she needs as we did every Sunday. I also try and talk to the boys every week. My life has been so empty since you went to heaven. I miss not talking to you 6-7 times a day. I also miss staying with you at night. You taught me so much about how to live your life successfully. I miss you telling me everyday how much you loved me. People could tell that immediately when we met someone new. You will live forever in my heart. We had a great time for 6 days on vacation. As you said, we were in paradise, we could cuddle as long as we wanted, and we had Steven's company. I shall miss you forever and you will live on in my heart and memories. I love you, Jenny

Stephen, Ryan & Janet,
The people in the Reynolds Can Division were more like family than Co-workers. Chuck will be missed like a brother and will always be remembered.

Chuck, you were our neighbor by chance, but our friend by choice. Thank you for making our neighborhood such a warm and friendly place to live. We will always remember your bravery and kindness, even through your bad days of chemo. We really miss our driveway chats and our walks with Cammy. You are missed.

April 14, 2010

Ryan, Stephen and Janet,
I want you to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers during this time. God will take care of you and you will need to take care of each other. Ryan and Stephen remember the good times with your dad because they are the memories that will help you be strong. Grief takes time. The healing takes time. Love last forever.

Janet be strong.
In sympathy and love, Gayle Sutton

I'll miss Chuck - as a long time friend and one that met things head on - whether on the tennis court, at work or just having fun. His strength is an inspiration.

Chuck,
We knew each other so long, we are almost related. Lots of good times and sad times. This is one of the saddest. You always had a big smile even during the tough times and you had some really tough times this past year.
"Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take but by the moments that take our breath away."
I know you had many moments that took your breath away and two of them were Ryan and Steven. We will miss you but you will always be in our hearts and thoughts.

Chuck,

You were a great person to know, both personally and professionally. I enjoyed our 'deep' engineering discussions, and our little VBCOA trips. You would come to my office and say: "I have just one question" and a hundred questions later we would shake hands and say fairwell. I learned more every time our paths crossed.

I suggested that you apply for a job here at the county, but at the time you had other obligations at home. You were a good father and son.

I was proud of the way you fought thru the medical treatments and kept your zest for more knowledge thru it all. You left the world on a vacation in the Bahamas instead of a hospital room...may we all be so lucky!

Your friends at the county will miss you.

Chuck, you have always shown love, kindness, caring and appreciation for every simple word or act. You loved your family and friends unconditionally and took such pride in your sons and was a devoted son to your mom as well. An example for each of us. I will miss our conversations, friendship until we hopefully meet again. Maria

Dear Chuck,

You were my shining star and I was your inspiration for life. We were two peas in a pod and fell in love at first sight. We finished each others sentences and complimented one another like no other couple could.

When the time was right, you were to be my husband and I your wife. To the kindest, most sensitive, fun, caring, loving, generous, patient and understanding man who ever lived, I will love you forever. The world has lost its one and only special gem.

I miss you so deeply but you will be eternal in my heart. God is taking care of you now but we will be together once again in heaven.

Rest in peace the love of my life, you were gone too soon.

I LOVE YOU,
Nancy
