CHARLOTTE HIRSH

HIRSH, Charlotte "Lottie," 100, of Richmond, died Sunday, January 15, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kurt Hirsh; and is survived by her children, Gaby Heller and her husband, Irwin, Ronnie Hirsh and his wife, Rachelle Katz; sister, Fridel Newmont; her grandchildren, Jacqueline Hirsh and Marc Heller and his wife, Erin; and two great-grandchildren, Alexander and Isla Heller. Charlotte, a Holocaust survivor, immigrated to the United States in 1948 with her family. A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday (today) at Emek Sholom Holocaust Cemetery at Forest Lawn. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Charlotte's memory to the Virginia Holocaust Museum, 2000 E. Cary St., Richmond, 23223, or the Emek Sholom Holocaust Cemetery, 5100 Monument Ave., Unit 608., Richmond, 23230-3648.
