COLEMAN, Christine Mitchell, 81, of Richmond, entered eternal rest on Sunday, October 3, 2010 at MCV Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cornelius Coleman. She is survived by three daughters, Yvonne Harris and Carolyn Ruffin, both of Amelia, and Cornelia "Niecy" Turner (Wayne) of Chesterfield; one brother, Alvah "Bootsy" Mitchell (Linda) of Amelia; a devoted friend, Sarah Gaines; 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Michael W. Hawkes Funeral Home, 15001 Patrick Henry Hwy., Amelia, where the family will receive friends on Wednesday from 7 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 7, at 2 p.m. from Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Amelia. Interment church cemetery.
