To The Norris Family,
I stopped in to 7-Eleven this morning for my cup of coffee and was told of your son's passing from another customer. I didn't know your son, Daniel, but I just felt like I needed to reach out and let you know that my thoughts and prayers are with you. After reading through a few of the guestbook entries, it sounds like Daniel was a great kid who touched a lot of peoples lives. You should be so proud!!! I hope your memories will comfort you until you can be together again.

Daniel was a patient at our office in Sandston, VA. We were always happy to see him when he came in and he always had a smile on his face. Daniel was one of those kids that had the rare quality of being able to sit down and talk to someone like he had known them for a lifetime. Easy going, heart of gold kind of person. He will be sorely missed by everyone at our office. Prayers for his family and anyone else who was touched by him and is experiencing this awful tragedy.

Robert & DeAnn, I am so sorry to hear about Daniel.My heart HURTS for you two and your family. We have sat at the dinner table allmost the whole time I worked at NABISCO. (17 years) Never would I think this would ever happen.If I could take the pain from you all I would do so in a quick minute.I was told today about Daniel and I can't get it off of my mind. Daniel you teached me a lot about friendship these past few months. You showed me it wasn't all about money, it wasn't all about who's cool, it was all about the boys and having a good time enjoying life. You inspired me to not dwell on the negative but to instead grab life by the horns, or in your case by the deer antlers! I miss how much we'd laugh together, our journeys, the many memories that I will keep to the end my friend..Thank you so much. You will ALWAYS be with me in spirit. Thank you for always having faith in my music and letting people hear my stuff, that meant the universe to me. You were like my biggest fan. We're gonna make it big for you Big D, you were always the life of the party. My sympathies go out to Daniel's parents who he loved with all his heart and always put first. You inspire me to go up and beyond expectations because you were the most positive and confident person I ever met. I havent lost no one close to me since my pops died 5 years ago but I know you're in a better place. I know you're looking down on us with that ginormous smile I grew to love. To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,

It has been a few years since I have seen daniel, but daniel was one of those wonderful people you could never forget. He had oe of the biggest heart, and was always trying to help others. I loe you boy!* You wll be missed by s0 many!*

Dan I really can't believe your gone.It was like yesterday when me and you too Sarah's phone in Mr.Stook's 5th block class.We got in so much trouble that day even though we get in trouble almost every other day.I remember you hid the phone between the desk and I said lets hide it i plain site an they never found it. Then Stooks sent us outside and gave us a speech about when are we going to grow up an stop acting childish and we said never lol. Daniel Daniel Daniel, I still can not believe you are gone. Each and Every time I look outside my window I wish to see your bronco in the drive way. It is sooo hard living next door remembering your smile and great character. I lived in Sandston now for 4 months and it seems like I knew you forever. You were the most humble and care hearted young man I have ever known. I wish there was something I could have done before you left that morning. But, GOD says it is your time because he has a position much higher for you! Mr. and Mrs. Norris we are right over the fence, let us know if you need anything. May GOD be with you! daniel, i'll never forget the days we'd ride in your truck and turn up the radio and dance and sing. haha and i remember when jaime set your car alarm off at the movies and it took you about 20 minutes to figure out how to turn it off. you were the most amazing guy out there. you were so nice to everyone. you were one of my bestfriends. you were always there for me no matter what. you always hated it when i cried haha i remember last week when i was with you and i was crying over jaime, you told me you were gonna hit me if i didn't stop crying over him. i loved you and i know you loved me too because you told me all the time. 4th of july was gonna be sweet because we were gonna be together. i know you would still want me too have fun and i'll try my best just for you (: i'll see you someday. i love you soo much or as you would say "i love you sweetie" ahha.

I didn't know Daniel, but have been touched all the same by the thoughts and memories left by his friends who knew and loved him. My daughter went to school with him. He left quite an impression in his short time here. My deepest sympathies to his family and friends. God rest his soul.

I shared many laughs with Daniel. I was his substitute bus driver, it is children like Daniel that make me enjoy my job. He would stop by my house sit outside with me , we would talk and laugh. I always looked forward to our visits. ( We live in the same neighborhood) I will miss him so much. May God lay his hand upon your family and ease the pain in your hearts.

I did not know Daniel but I know his teacher Rebecca Wood. To Daniel’s parents, brother & family - we first met Daniel through 2 of his best friends, Scottie Miles and Paul Bull, whose grandparents, Jim & Jo Duzan are dear friends of ours. We always found Daniel to be so polite each time we saw him. It is so heartbreaking to hear of his sudden death. Please know that we feel and share in your pain as we too lost one of our children 6 years ago. We pray that God will wrap His loving arms around you all and bring you comfort and peace in the days, months, and years ahead.
