The Barkley Family
We are so sorry to hear about Debbie. Our thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of grief. I have known Debbie since the 7th grade, but lost touch after high school. She stopped by my house one night about five years ago with some other friends just to say Hi. I hadn't seen her in probably 25 years, but she looked the same. Remember the good times and cherish them

Dearest Family,
Debbie was a blessing to me in so many ways. She once said to me,"I accept God's will for me, whatever happens will be my testimony to God" The generosity of her spirit will always inspire me to do my best to live a loving ,caring, Godly life. I treasure my memories of her and cherish the gifts she gave to me throughout my years of being her hairstylist and friend.
My deepest sympathy to you all. I pray for comfort and peace to all who mourn her loss.

Isaiah 57:1
The righteous perish, and no one ponders it in his heart; devout men are taken away, and no one understands that the righteous are taken away to be spared from evil. Those who walk uprightly enter into peace; they find rest as they lie in death.

Dear Bob,
I only knew you and Debbie from Tuesday morning Bible study and never had the chance to talk to either of you. I could see your love and protection for Debbie each week, she knows you are protecting your sons in that same way. Debbie is with the "Great Protector" now, well and resting in His peace. I pray that you have that assurance.

John 14:1
Let not your heart be troubled. Trust in God.

You are in my heart and in my prayers.

Dear Bob, Josh, and Matt:
I was so sad to hear that you had lost your darling Debbie. We were friends in high school, but I am sorry to say, lost touch once I moved away. I remember her as happy, energetic, loving, and kind, and I can tell by the other testimonies to her that she retained these traits throughout her life and was well loved by all whose lives she touched. God bless you and keep you. God wrap His loving arms around you. With deepest sympathy,

Dear Barkley Family,
When our Father calls our loved ones home, they have to leave us. We are left with a broken heart. Yet a broken heart is a larger heart.
Thoughts of heaven and spending eternity together as a family will help a bit. God will heal your heart but it takes time. When Debbie went to heaven, God's heart was the first to break for you. His eyes are on the sparrow, so you know He is watching you.
Don't let anyone tell you that Debbie has died. She is more alive than ever! You will see her again.

Bobby - It is hard to know what to say. I was just stunned to read that Debbie was not with us. Going back to the good ole Kappa Sigma days at U of R, you giving Debbie your pin, song fest, pig roasts at the frat house - what fun we all had. Please hold on to those wonderful memories.

Dearest Barkley family,
I was so sorry to learn this news yesterday. Debbie was an amazingly bright human spirit. Even in the fight for her life, she remained positive and hopeful- trusting in God and loving all those who loved her. Her friendship meant so very much to me- and her "way of being" taught me about living grace. I pray that you all may experience a "peace that surpasses all understanding" through the days ahead.I will not forget her. She was a rare and beautiful gift.
