Katherine Eva Barkley

Katherine Eva Barkley, 56, of Roscommon, died on Sunday, November 16th, 2025, in the presence and comfort of her family.
Katherine was born January 27th, 1969, in Livonia, Michigan, the daughter of Howard and Sally (Pierce) Pengelly. She graduated from Churchill high school in 1987. On October 26th of 1996 she married Phil, whom both welcomed Sons Charles and Jackson into their beautiful lives.
Katherine was a devoted Mother who had strong love for her dogs. She took any chance she could to take a nature drive whether it was to see the tunnel of trees, any of the lakes or the northern lights, she absolutely cherished the deer and birds that would visit her daily. She always enjoyed having her nails done. Listened to her favorite music all throughout the day. And cherished spending time with family and girlfriends. Kate took pride in her job as treasurer, always excited to tell her family about the day's work and the challenges she would overcome. She will be deeply missed by Friends, family, and all who knew her.
Katherine will be greatly missed by family and friends. She is survived by beloved Scott Barritt of 18 years; Loving mother of Sons Charles Barkley and Jackson Barkley; daughter McKenzie Barritt; granddaughter Gracelynn Barritt; and Brother Timothy Pengelly.
She is preceded in death by her late husband Phillip Barkley, her mother Sally Pengelly, her father Howard Pengelly, and sister-in-law Margaret Dowd.
Family and friends will gather for a Memorial Service on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at 1pm at Wagner and Walsh Funeral Directors.
