June, it is quite a shock to read of Dom's recent obituary in the paper. It was a very short time ago that we ran into you both at a local restaurant. He always had a great attitude and outlook, which I admired each time we talked.

Dom was a bright spot in the course of the workday... always had a story to bring a smile or laugh, and would seem to go out of his way just to say hello. I offer my condolences with an expression of respect and love for Dom and his family. May God grant him a blessed repose and eternal memory!

Dear June:

I am sorry to read of your loss to you and your family. I worked with Dominic from 1987 till his retirement, and I can truthfully say that he was a kind, understanding, entertaining, and fun individual to be around. His stories of past experiences always kept us in stitches, and his love for his family was always evident. I now have my own medical problems that prevented me from attending the services -- please accept my condolences. May God bless you and the rest of the family.

I'm very sorry about your great loss. I enjoyed and appreciated Dom when he was working here at AATD at Fort Eustis. He was a fascinating, caring, smart individual and lovingly spoke of his family a lot. I'm thankful he was given added years because he could have died decades ago. I will be praying for your family.
