Mrs. Doris, you and my mom were the mothers of our neighborhood. I always admired you, for your radiant beauty, and beautiful smile, with that gold tooth. You were a strong lady and stood behind your family no matter what happened. I miss those times we use to sit and talk and I'd say something that'll make you laugh. I truly miss you very much.

Mom, there is a earthly celebration going on here for you! It's your earthly birthday and I am celebrating the love you so freely gave to me. I know that you are resting now in the arms of our Lord. I also know that you were there with the family to greet Brenda Patron Robinson, your cousin home. So, I know that there's a party going on in heaven for Brenda homecoming...so with love...I extend my love up to heaven to you on this day to say...Happy Birthday Mom...until we meet again I will continue to love you from afar...

Happy Birthday Mom…Your beauty lives forever in my heart, mind and spirit.
I wrote this poem for you. I miss you dearly and with these words…I extend my love up to heaven to you!
My Beautiful Mom
My Mom, oh what a beautiful woman my mom was
A woman of beauty inside and out
A woman of love abounding so strong
A woman of patience and virtue throughout
A woman of faith in the one true God
Yes, my mom was a beautiful woman
Her beauty would light up the room like the stars lit up the sky
Her beauty would linger as she passed others by
Yes, my mom was beautiful, yes truly beautiful indeed
Her smile would send joy to all that she met
Her laughter would warm the heart of even the coldest soul
Her love would capture you and soften your heart
Her love was unconditional, no matter what you have not
My mom was beautiful in spirit and truth
My mom was beautiful in all that she would do
Yes, my mom was truly beautiful
She was beautiful with love, beautiful with pain
Beautiful in happiness, beautiful in sorrow
Yes, my mom was truly beautiful inside and out
My mom was a strong black woman, full of beauty that only God could have made
My mom was a beautiful black woman full of wisdom and love
Yes, my mom was beautiful in life and is beautiful in death
1 Peter 3:3-4 “Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes. 4 Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God's sight”.

My darling Mother, today is the date that God carried you home four (4) years ago. Your love, spirit and memory is as fresh in my heart as the day you went home to be with the Lord. I love you dearly mom and miss you so very much! There are no words to describe how much I miss you and love you. Each morning when I rise...I thank God for life, mercy, grace, family and most of all you! You were and still is my angel and best friend. Even though you are not here in the physical body...I know your spirit is here. Many days...I be sitting and thinking of you and a sweet aroma pass me by and I know that its you letting me know that you hear and feel my love extending up to heaven to you. I love you mom and you will forever be in my heart, mind and a part of my spirit. So, until we rejoin in spirit...I will continue to love you from afar...always! Tell the rest of the family hello and give them all my love...RIP mom...

Mom,
Today is Grandma's 105th earthly birthday...
I know that you all are celebrating heavenly birthdays together...but those of us that are still here waiting to come home still remember earthly birthdays.
So, tell her happy earthly birthday for me and that I love and miss all of you (You, Grandma, Grandpa, Daddy, Ronnie, Hooks and all of the rest of the family members that have gone home) deeply.
Rest in peace Grandma...
I will love you all from afar...until we meet again...

Mom,
Today is the day that God called you home to rest August 5, 2009. Each and everyday I think of you and miss the tender love you gave so affectionally. Your love was the center of our family and is what kept us close. Your laughter always made us smile and remain in hope. Your faith was our guide and what kept us going. But most of all...your gentle and loving spirit is what fed our hearts! Oh, how we miss you and your tender love that you gave to us so freely! You were truly a loving mother that God gifted to us from heaven. We love and miss you and you will always be in our hearts and on our mind. So, until we meet again...
I will love you from afar!
For we know that when this earthly tent we live in is taken down (that is, when we die and leave this earthly body), we will have a house in heaven, an eternal body made for us by God himself and not by human hands" 2 Corinthians 5:1

I know you all miss your Mother. As it says in 2 Corinthians 1:3-5, "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. For just as the sufferings of Christ flow into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows."
You are all in my thoughts and prayers on this anniversary of your Mother's journey with Christ.

today is another day that I miss you dearly. Michael, Kia, and I cleaned your grave and planted some grass seed. Even though we know you are not there...I still feel a need to do something for you.
I miss you so much and not being able to say Happy Mother's Day to you and give you love was so strange for me yesterday. For so many years...I was blessed to have you here on earth to love and be love by you and now all I can do is reminisce on the sweet memories stored in my heart and mind of you.
Well, I will cherished those memories and as each day pass without you...my love will flow up to heaven to you!
So for now...I will love you from afar until we meet again...
Love you forever!!!!

Mom,
Every day I remember your beautiful smile. Oh...how I miss you!!! I dream about you often and sometimes...I hear your sweet voice asking me what am I doing. So many times...I wish I had kept your voice messages that you left on my phone so many times. You would call and say "this is your mother calling...call me when you get this message." Oh...how I wish I could hear your voice today.
Mom, I miss you so much! There are no words that I can say to express how much I miss you. Thank God that I have precious memories of you that I can hold on to...
There is nothing that can erase your sweet smile, your gentle laughter, and your beautiful face and twinkling eyes from my memory. God gave me an angel for a mother and I am so thankful for the many years I was blessed to be loved by you, to love you, and to share my life with you! Each day I look at your picture and remember all of the laughs we shared and how you always made me feel special.
Mom, I will love you for all eternity and I pray that you can feel my love extending up to heaven to you!

Hello Mom,
Last night I dreamed we were shopping and you had found a beautiful pink dress you liked. Oh how beautiful you were in that dress. Your beautiful smile just made the dress even more beautiful and we were laughing and smiling at each other. You were walking and we were getting ready to go and get something to eat.
Mom, How I miss your sweet spirit! Your gentle soul was one of my reward from God and I must admit that I really miss you more than I thought I ever could miss anyone.
You were the one that always made me want to pray and ask God for a gentle spirit. That was one of the many attributes that I admired about you. Your sweet gentle spirit. I always use to say to you that God broke the mold when he made you or that you had the patience of Job.
What a jewel you were and I miss seeing, touching, and loving on that jewel.
God knows how much I loved you and still love you and miss you! He wipe my tears away each day.
Today, Kia caught me crying and gave me a big hug and it felt good. I try to explain to her that not only were you my mother, but you truly was my best friend, my confidant, my mentor, and my living saint.
Well, mom...this is a new year and a lonely year without you. I remember us going over to City Hall so you could vote for the first black president. Even though you were sick...you stayed strong and casted your vote! I use to tell everyone I met...I have a beautiful, loving mother and I am blessed! Yes, GOD gave me a precious gift...you as my mother. How blessed I was...
I miss you mom and you will always...always be in my heart and on my mind.
So, until we meet again...I LOVE you from afar!

Good Morning Precious Mother - Ruby and I were talking about how fortunate we were to have been blessed with such a loving Mom. We truly miss you and love you so very much. They say that time heals all wounds, but time has not made the emptiness that we feel any better. The only consolation that we have is that you are no longer suffering, but know that we truly miss you more each day! We will always love and cherish your memory and you will forever be in our hearts. Rest in peace!!!!

I have miss you so much, especially on Saturday's that was me, you and Lee time together. Ruby is doing fine, she is holding in there- strong. Lee is doing well- holding on being strong for the girls. As for myself, there is not a day that go by, I don't look at your picture and think about you. I heard a song on the radio and thought about the guy we use to look at on the TV with the jean jumper, I cant remember his name but he was always trying to sing. Remember that day you rolled your chair to the fridge and got caught in the freezer getting a your favorite popsicle :-) FUNNY!!!"Good times"
I Love you and miss you everyday

Mom,
I hope you like your memorial stone. Your picture is on it so others can see our beautiful mother. We tried to get you a pink memorial stone which was your favorite color.
It is not the exact pink you liked but it has pink colors in it...so I hope you like it.
I look at your picture everyday and remember all of the love you gave to me so freely. What a blessing I received when God let me be your daughter.
Tell Dad, Hooks, Ronnie, Grandma, Grandpa, and all of our other family members that we love and miss them too! I know they were so happy to see you when you got home. I can imagine what a wonderful home coming party you received...and the celebration that occurred in heaven when you arrived back home.
Mom, I know that you are resting now and no longer suffering and that gives me peace. I thank God for his mercy and grace and loving kindness. God is so good!
I miss you and will love you forever and always! Until we meet again...

I know that you and the angels are dancing and rejoicing in heaven and giving all praise, honor and glory to God.
Even though you are not here physically...I felt your spirit of love today. I thanked God for blessing me with such a loving Mother.
Rest in peace mom and know that you are loved and missed. I will love you forever and always! Merry Christmas! Until we meet again...

Mom,
Today is your birthday and I am missing you more each day! Yesterday I saw a sugar free birthday cake that was perfect for you. You know I always brought you a sugar free birthday cake for your birthday. We would always laugh about it the next day because of the effect it would have on some of us! (smile)
I sure do miss being able to say happy birthday to you and telling you how beautiful you are and how much I love you! I was looking at your birthstone yesterday online and decided to get it so I would have your birthstone. I don't know what happen to your birthstone earrings I gave you for one of your birthdays...I wish we had put them on you for your going home celebration. Mom,
Yesterday, Ruby and I picked out your memorial headstone. Each time I pass where you are buried...I shed a tear. Just knowing that I can't talk to you is really hard. Some times, I catch my self talking to you out loud and I believe in my heart that you hear me. I really miss you!!!!!
I miss you so much and each night I dream of you...talking to you and laughing with you. Each morning, I still pick up the phone to call you and remember...I can't call you or come by to see you. It is lonely without you! I really miss you! I guess one day...I'll stop crying and just remember the good times I had with you and the love you gave so freely to me.
I love you mom....and you will forever be in my heart and on my mind. I know the angels are still rejoicing over your home coming. I thank God for you and know that one day we will meet again as spiritual beings of the Most High God...praising our Lord together. Love you always!
