HOLLOWAY, Doris Mae Atkins, 76, of Richmond, went to be with the Lord August 19, 2008. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Alfred E. Holloway Sr.; daughter, Mary Lee Wilberger and husband, John; three sons, Alfred "Bubba" Holloway Jr. and wife, Donna, Douglas L. Holloway and wife, Janet, and Raymond "Tut" Holloway; five grandchildren, Linsey Holloway, Angela McNally and husband, Paul, Jason Holloway and wife, Lynda, Douglas Wilberger and Kim Reynolds; four great-grandchildren, Paul and Jackson McNally, Luke Holloway and Erika Reynolds; sisters, Jean Nowell, Shirley Charnick and husband, William; brothers, James "Pat" Atkins and wife, Joyce, William "Michael" Atkins and wife, Norma Jean, and Robert "Dudy" Hilliard Jr.; a host of nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., where her family will receive friends Friday, August 22, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., and where services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, August 23, 2008 in the chapel, with interment in Washington Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shalom Baptist or Providence United Methodist Building Fund.
