Dear Family of "Nanny" Bradley...we offer our heartfelt condolences and lift you up in prayer. We just learned of Nanny's death yesterday (Sept. 10) when we talked to Douglas and Mary. Talking to Nanny was always good for our hearts...she was such a sweet person. "...oh, for the touch of a vanished hand and the sound of a voice that is still."

To the Bradley Family, my thoughts and prayers are with you during your time of beaverment. My remembrance of Ms. Dorothy was her radiant smile. Her smile could light up the darkest room. Family, I can't say I know how you feel, but I can say I've been there. The days ahead may be rough but when those days occur, put your hands in gods hands for he will see you through. She ran a good race... She fought a good fight...Well! Done thy good and faithful servant, For you all loved her but god loved her best.

This candle shines as we celebrate the life of a woman who simply loved life. She was genuine in all that she did and said. She has impacted and touched the lives of so many people, both young and old. Rest in peace, Nanny.

I am at a loss for words, and I cannot really say much except for how I appreciated Dorothy for her generosity and sense of humor. She has always been a good friend, always ready to listen and lend a hand, and never failed to give a word of encouragement. I will surely miss my dear friend.

I'm connected to the deceased thru blood and experience. To Douglas Jr, Irvin Harris and the rest, I've known Mrs Dorothy for as long as I can remember. All of my memories of her are of her smile and the peace that radiated from her. Douglas, you and I have fond memories of our days @Gandy HS. There is not a lot to say during these times except that Mrs Dorothy has made her statement and set a good example for us all. Time is your friend. Better feelings will soon come. To our dear friend, Mrs Dorothy, we say well done.
