Renee' and Family,
You have my deepest sympathy during your time of bereavement. I still remember when I traveled through Tucson, during my NASA days, and Mrs. Hale gave me the grand tour and I attended her church. She was a special person. May God give you all strength now and in the days ahead.

RENEE',YOUR MOTHER WAS ONE OF MY FAVORITE TEACHERS AT ARMSTRONG HIGH.SHE TAUGHT ME TO BE CONFIDENT IN PUBLIC SPEAKING AND ACTING.WHENEVER I RETURNED HOME FROM COLLEGE I WOULD WALK A FEW BLOCKS FROM MY PARENTS HOME TO VISIT HER. I HAVE SHARED FOND MEMORIES OF YOUR MOTHER WITH MY FAMILY.MAY GOD BLESS EACH OF YOU ALWAYS.

Because of Mrs. Hale's drama classes, I have enjoyed theater for many years and still think of some of our class discussions long ago in Armstrong High School.

I am one of those many young people whose lives Edna Hale touched through her work. I am now a professional actress based in Washington, DC, I had the pleasure of having her come to one of my professional performances here in Washington just before she moved to Arizona. It was one of the proudest moments of my life. She was as influential a teacher as I have ever encountered and I am so sorry to lose her. She will always remain in my psyche as inspiration and mentor.

I am so sadden to read of Mrs. Hale's passing. She was a wonderful influence in my life, for she always gave me great encouragement. I was fortunate enough to also know her wonderful parents. She was certainly a great lady and will always be remembered by the many lives she touched.
