EDWARD CLUVERIUS Obituary

Published by Richmond Times-Dispatch from Dec. 6 to Dec. 7, 2010.
CLUVERIUS, Edward F. "Ed", 80, passed away Sunday, December 5, 2010 after a long and courageous battle with heart and kidney disease. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Helen McGinness Cluverius. He was a cherished father, grandfather, family member and friend. He will be missed by the people he touched the most - his beloved family, his children, Jimmy, Terry Teal, Kathy Calhoun (Bob), Eddie, and Patty Harte (Scott); his grandchildren, Lindsay, Joshua and Danielle Teal, Abe, Mitchell and Quinn Calhoun, and Jack Harte. A veteran of the Korean War, Ed graduated from the University of Richmond where he was president of his fraternity, Sigma Alpha Epsilon. He retired from Moore Business Form as a senior account executive and a lifetime member and executive vice-president in the Moore's Achievement Club. In retirement, he enjoyed many happy times with the "Geriatrics, " and being surrounded by his grandchildren. The family would like to extend our thanks to Mrs. Alice Flanigan, Hands of Comfort, and Bon Secours St. Mary's. Remains rest at the West Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 11020 W. Broad Street Rd., where services will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday, with interment in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
