I am sorry that I never go to know Ed better than being a classmate of his at Hermitage High School Class of 1972. His passing comes as a surprise to many of us in his class since we are planning our 4oth Reunion. Our condolences to the family are extended by the entire Class of 1972. He will be missed at our Reunion. God Bless You.

I was shocked to hear of Eddie's passing this week. I knew Eddie for almost 50 years. We were neighbors and his mom even kept me after school when I was young. Eddie was a great friend who made the effort to keep in touch over the years. I think what I will miss most, other than his friendship, is his distinctive laugh. No one laughed like Eddie.

Denise and family --

Arlie and I are visiting our son Drew, his wife and our new grandson in Amman, Jordan. We heard about your sad loss thanks to the Blue Star Families. I'm sorry we will miss saying goodbye to Ed. Drew, like Arlie and I, send our genuine sympathy and remorse. We have many great memories of Ed, the boys and all of us preparing for, going on and recovering from our famous wilderness hikes. I think we made the most of the time we had together. We offer to all of you our sincerest condolences and our hopes that all will be well, in God's good time.
