WALLER, Evelyn Virginia Carson, 89, of Richmond, formerly of Lynchburg, died on Wednesday, November 11, 2009. She was the beloved wife of the late James Waller. She was a member of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church. She is survived by her brothers, The Reverend Joseph T. Carson Jr. and wife, Bernice, and The Reverend Louis E. Carson and wife, Geneva, all of Richmond; and a number of nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. A graveside funeral will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2009 at 2 p.m. at Red House Cemetery, Route 615, Charlotte County. In lieu of the flowers, please consider St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, 9801 Fort King Rd., Richmond, Va. 23229. Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Lynchburg, is assisting the family, 434-237-9424. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting tharpfuneralhome.com.

So sorry for your loss. I never met Evelyn, but heard so many wonderful stories about her from her niece Bernice. My prayers are with all of your family as you come together to celebrate Evelyn's life and her joining the Lord in peace at last. God bless.
