BAKER, Florence Taylor, 85, passed away Monday, April 12, 2010. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she was born in Amelia County. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ted Baker; parents, Ethel Morrison Taylor and Charles Taylor; brothers, Edgar, Ben and William Taylor; and sister, Ruth Taylor Henderson. She is survived by her son, Dennis Baker; daughter, Debra Baker Greene; son-in-law, Steve Greene; grandson, Ronald Greene; granddaughters, Melissa Baker Keller and Jennifer Baker; and great-granddaughters, Mackenzie Greene and Jessica Boles. Retired from Henrico County Food Service, member of Three Chopt Church of Christ, she loved doing for others and touched many people with her thoughtful letters and cards. The family will receive friends Wednesday, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Bliley's - Staples Mill, 8510 Staples Mill Road, where a funeral service will be held Thursday, 2 p.m. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Debbie & Steve,
Sorry for your loss, You are in my thoughts and prayers. Your Mom was a very special lady, I'm glad that Steve brought her to our Wed. night Games,She was alot of fun and will be missed by many. May she rest in Peace !

Deb, I know how you are hurting as you know I went through it with my Dad last month. Just know that your Mom loved you all very much...she was indeed a great lady in every sense of the word.
