CHILDRESS, Frances Patterson, 91, of Richmond, formerly of Roanoke, died, June 22, 2010. Survivors include her husband of 68 years, William Carter Childress; and two sons, Gentry Childress and Boyd Childress. Mrs. Childress was a member of Tuckahoe Presbyterian Church since 1952. A memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Monday at the Simms Center at Lakewood Manor. Online condolences to: woodyfuneralhomeparham.com.
