FRANKLIN KEAN Obituary

KEAN, Franklin D., 90, of Louisa, Va., died Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at Dogwood Village Nursing Home, Orange. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen W. Kean. Survivors include his son, James Franklin Kean and his wife, Dr. Kate Hussman; two grandsons, Brian and John Kean; an honorary granddaughter, Dr. Melinda McCall; his brother-in-law, John Waddy and his wife, Jesse; and numerous nieces and nephews. Franklin was a lifelong farmer and cattleman in Louisa. His remains rest at the Woodward Funeral Home, Louisa, where the family will receive friends Friday, December 4 from 6 to 8 p.m. A graveside funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, December 5 at Hillcrest Cemetery, Louisa.
