George H. HARLOW

HARLOW, George H., 73, of Sandston, passed away on September 22, 2010. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Harlow; and brothers, Joseph Jr. and Robert. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Emma; a devoted grandson, Nathan Butler (Beth); daughter, Angie; granddaughter, Marinda; great-grandson, Anthony; brothers, Harry of Waynesboro, Va., James (Hildagard) of Germany, Dennie (Sun) of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; sisters, Leona Critzer (Bill) of Afton, Va., Jean Richardson of Powhatan, Va.; and family and friends. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, September 24, at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Avenue, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 25. Interment will be at Washington Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society Restricted Research, 4240 Park Place Court, Glen Allen, Va. 23060, or Elko Union Church Building Fund, 6861 Elko Road, Sandston, Virginia 23150.
