Gracie Lane Obituary

LANE, Gracie Mills, age 85, went to be with the Lord on May 24, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband, Forrest W. Lane; and her son and daughter-in-law, Donnie and Peggy Duke Lane. Survivors include one brother-in-law, Floyd Lane of Richmond; and three sisters-in-law, Mary Carneal of Richmond, Nancy Knight of Bumpass and Eleanor Fetty of Ashland. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 3, 2010 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Nelsen Funeral Home - Reid Chapel, 412 S. Washington Hwy., Ashland, Va. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 4, at Calvary Christian Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
